Life Coaching in Bangkok

A decision keeps circling. Whether to take the job or keep the one you have. Whether Bangkok is still the right city, or whether you’re here by default. Whether the relationship has run its course or is just in a slow stretch. Or maybe there’s no decision at all, just a sense of drift that has been getting harder to ignore.

Coaching is for those stretches. It’s for people who want a steady outside perspective on a decision or a period of change, and who aren’t looking for therapy. Someone to think out loud with, who has no stake in which answer you pick, and who will ask the questions your friends are too polite, or too involved, to ask.

What people bring

Most of it falls into a few familiar shapes:

  • A career decision: taking a role, leaving one, changing fields at 40, starting something of your own.
  • A move, which in Bangkok usually carries a bigger question underneath: is this home now?
  • A relationship crossroads, where staying and leaving have both become real at the same time.
  • A sense of drift: nothing is wrong exactly, but nothing is being chosen either.

None of this requires a diagnosis. Wanting a clearer head before a big decision is reason enough.

What happens when you get in touch

You send a message or call. From there it’s a short conversation about what you’re facing and what kind of help fits it. A first message commits you to nothing, and what you write is treated as confidential.

The difference from counseling

Coaching is forward-looking and practical. It starts from where you stand today and works on what comes next: the options, the trade-offs, and what you actually want once someone is asking the questions that matter. Counseling works with distress and its history: anxiety, low mood, patterns with long roots. Both are worthwhile uses of an hour, and neither is the more serious conversation.

People move between them, and that’s fine. Some start in coaching and find the real obstacle is older and deeper than the decision in front of them, and continue into counseling. Others finish therapy and want practical help building what comes next. Dr. Mason offers both in the same practice, so if what you bring belongs to the other kind of work, that gets said plainly.
